| Abstract | This article is a descriptive study that basically used a collection of data and a stateof-the-art approach to describe the different concepts regarding bullying and cyber bullying. The aim of this research was to show that there have not been sufficient efforts from public authorities for the prevention, reduction and elimination of these forms of violence. It was concluded that the number of children harassed and mistreated by peers in Colombia has been increasing. Therefore, the government should implement additional measures, set public policies and regulations that would help to eradicate this phenomenon |
