| Abstract | The study attempts to find out the user’s requirement of e-resources available through UGC Infonet Digital Library Consortium by the faculty members. A questionnaire survey was conducted among the faculty members of sciences and social sciences of three universities of North East Region. The study reveals that majority of the faculty members are aware of UGC Infonet. There is a demand of more journals to add in the consortium. The faculty members encountered problems of slow bandwidth of internet, frequent failure of power supply, lack of desired resources in the consortium and technical problems associated with the consortium. The paper concludes with the suggestions from the faculty members that training on the use of consortium, increase internet band width; etc. would be helpful to the users to extend the use of consortium. |
