| Abstract | The overweight and the obesity have been target of extreme international concern on the part of the scientific community related to the health and quality of life of the population. In order to quantify the degree of obesity and overweight in the population diverse methods of measure of the corporal composition had been developed in different parts of World. The present work has for objective to relate the results gotten for 331 volunteers who if had submitted to the classification of its percentage of corporal fat (PGC) through the protocol of Pollock 7 folds and its index of corporal mass (IMC) in the intention to investigate possible relations between these protocols.
