Abstract | The delivery of prime quality video to multiple viewers accessing the content from varied devices and networks with variable conditions may be a difficult task. Transferring identical content multiple viewers drives unicast transmission inefficient. Moreover, ancient multi-casting isn't an optimum answer for heterogeneous networks since it either overwhelms slow receivers or starves the quick ones. Hence, new delivery solutions with the goal of reducing the output rate of the supply and tailored to heterogeneous networks is important. during this paper, we have a tendency to gift a completely unique theme for stratified video multicasting to viewers with the pliability to access the content from varied devices (in a heterogeneous network) and loss/erasure prone networks. During this theme, the supply node uses climbable Video cryptography (SVC) to get quantifiability along with trendy elastic Forward Error Correction (FEC) for loss protection. There exists a non-trivial advantage in victimization elastic FEC in conjunction with SVC that allows us to introduce a replacement design that brings significant savings in needed supply output information measure. Our answer adapts to the precise wants of viewers, shows resilience against packet loss, e.g. but 5dB visit Peak signal-to-noise (PSNR) for up to half-hour loss rate, and particularly, will scaleback the supply output. |
