NDLI: Deformations of plane curves and Jacobian syzygies

Abstract	We relate the equianalytic and the equisingular deformations of a reduced complex plane curve to the Jacobian syzygies of its defining equation. Several examples and conjectures involving rational cuspidal curves are discussed.
