Abstract	The objective of the research was to analyze how project management is related to financial control in the Provincial Municipality of Cangallo Ayacucho 2018. The research approach was the equivalent to the qualitative one. The design of the investigation used the descriptive correlational. The population consisted of 75 workers who work as public officials. The technique and the instrument used in the recognition of information have been submitted to the survey and the respective questionnaire, the results of the application of the instruments have been presented in statistical tables, and the 95% confidence interval, in the inferential analysis the application of the Tau B statistician of Kendall has been applied. In this work, the value of Tau_b = 0,772, which means that there is a direct relationship; and the p_value = 0,000 compared to the level of significance that shows q is less than the level of significance α = 0.05, therefore it is concluded that it accepts the alternative hypothesis and the null hypothesis is rejected and it is concluded that there is a significant relationship between project management and financial control of the municipality of Cangallo-Ayacucho 2018
