| Abstract | This monograph aims to reflect the gymnastics from its epistemological and pedagogical determinants, treating the knowledge / contents / knowledge of the gymnastics from a critical and propositive conception of Education / Physical Education. This is a qualitative research, of the bibliographic review type. This work emerged from the reflections of the teaching practice together with some implications caused by discussions held in academic circles. Methodologically this work is developed through a bibliographical review, traced and structured by descriptors in the following databases: LILACS, SCIELLO, PENSAR A PRATICA, MOTRIVIVENCIA. Through the researches we have been able to observe how Physical Education and gymnastics are lagged in terms of dealing with the knowledge in the schools of our country. From this perspective we also observe the great neglect of the content of gymnastics in Physical Education classes, denying students a legitimate cultural manifestation of the history of man. |
