| Abstract | The work executed in PENTAGRAMA S.A. was divided in two areas: • Verification of different lines of production, work force and packaging cost distribution • Identification of waste sources, cost and possible reduction It was a work developed in and for the production area. In general terms the executed investigations were the following: • Analysis of the viability of the cost system • Verification of the raw material cost structure of each product • Analysis and posterior distribution of the workforce by groups • Analysis and posterior distribution of the packaging cost by groups • Investigation of the use of remnants in production • Investigation of the company's sales tendencies in reference to the most popular and most requested measurements. The work was done with the objective of ontributing to the improvement of company PENTAGRAMA S.A. and to validate the degree as Industrial Engineer of David Fernando Realpe Jaramillo. |
