Abstract	Background: Irritant contact dermatitis is the skin inflammation caused by contact with the irritant. A tire repairer is one of the examples of informal sector worker which is prone to irritant contact dermatitis. It is mainly caused by the contact to chemical substances, also the lack of work safety and health. This research was aimed to find out the factors related to irritant contact dermatitis case on tire repairs around Mugas of Semarang. Methods: It was an analytical quantitative research with cross-sectional approach. The population of tire repairers around Mugas is 44 persons. The researcher took the entire 44 persons as the sample of the research. The independent variable included the age, working period, working duration, skin diseases history, and personal hygiene. To analyze the data, the researcher used multivariate statistical analysis. Finding: The tire repairers with irritant contact dermatitis were 56.8%. Based on the bivariate analysis it was gained that p value was 0.011, the p value of working period was 0.021, p value of working duration was 0.104, p value of the skin diseases history was 0.02, and the p value of personal hygiene was 0.001. The multivariate analysis gained the p value of skin disease history was 0.006 and personal value was 0.005. Conclusion: There were relationships between personal hygiene and skin disease history with irritant contact dermatitis case on tire repairers around Mugas of Semarang.
