| Abstract | Summary Euophrys (s.str.) is redefined to include only the members of the former frontalis species group (altogether 29 species and 1 subspecies are currently included in the genus). Five species of Euophrys (s.str.) have been recorded in the Middle Asian salticid fauna, of which three are new to science: E. kirghizica sp.n., E. talassica sp.n. and E. turkmenica sp.n. All reported species are described, figured and diagnosed, with a distribution map for each species. |
