| Abstract | Knowing the community needs is fundamental to achieve effectiveness in extension projects. Thus, specifically the public of the third age, there is a marked lack of digital inclusion. In this sense, this research aimed to identify the importance of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) used in computer classes process the extension project of the Open University of the Third Age - UNATI, which is currently held at the Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP ), campus Tupa. The results and final considerations were found several technological tools used by members of the project and was also identified that these technologies have a double effect on the development of the project. |
