| Abstract | Was evaluated from the menu lunch offered at pre-school of six educational institutions, of which three were public and three private, located in a neighborhood of the South Zone in the city of São Paulo-SP. It calculated the total caloric content of menu served a week in selected institutions, in addition to macro and micro nutrients especially vitamin A, C and D. Besides the minerals Iron, Calcium and Zinc. The results, it was observed that the macro nutrients were within the average that determines the PNAE (National School Nutrition Program). In private institutions the average number of calories came a little above the recommended by the DRIs (Dietary Reference Intake) together with vitamin C. It was concluded that the menus for each day were made with the objective to meet the nutritional needs of pre-school and within that they can reach their goals. |
