| Abstract | This research aims to determine if companies that have good corporate governance practices tend to do better than others in crisis situations. The importance of this research is to show investors the influence of best practices of Corporate Governance (CG) on the behavior of companies on the financial crisis faced recently. For this study we used a sample of companies listed on BOVESPA. The sample chosen was listed companies in the energy segment.
