| Abstract | This article is a product of the author's initial a ttempt to develop a theory trying to describe the insertion of the idea of Constitution in the international Environment. The main idea is that the relationship between Constitu tion and International Law is, in fact, a relationship between pluralities, plurality marke d between the interaction of different national order (Constitutions) between themselves a nd the common goal in obtain a broader Law, the International Law. Therefore, the latter having an obligatory cosmopolitan spirit, commonly absent in the nationa l Laws under a Constitution. In the author minds, this situation can be described as be ing like a “spider web”, whose “spider” that spins the web is the Conflict of Law (or Private International Law).
