| Abstract | In this issue, and with this posthumous paper, we pay homage to Antonio Rena, a passionate and meticulous reader of cities, and activist of bike movement. He belonged to the «critical bike» group in Madrid, and he was linked to «Bicitekas» in Ciudad de Mexico. He was Mexican in origin, and migrant in Spain, where he get his Ph.D. in Geography, in the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid. He used the bike to move, to know, to study, to live together, to walk, to travel. He liked to observe urban forms, to measure, to touch, to criticize, and to compare them, to search in history, to emphasize processes and to map. The text we present here is the last one he wrote. |
