Abstract	Este estudio versa sobre la Sociedad de la Informacion y los recientes cambios en el mercado de trabajo. Se centra en la "brecha digital" - desigualdad en el acceso a las nuevas tecnologias de informacion y comunicacion - en el contexto europeo como un factor de exclusion social y laboral; y concluye centrandose en los cambios mas importantes que las acciones y politicas sociales y laborales deben afrontar para resolver este problema._This paper refers to the Information Society and the changes in the labour market it is bringing about. It addresses the "digital gap" -inequalities in the access to new information and communication technologies- in the European context as a factor of social and labour exclusion. It concludes by pointing at the most important challenges that social and labour actions and policies must to face up to solve this problem.
