| Abstract | The objective of the research was diagnose and promote knowledge about interdisciplinary work among professionals of the Health Strategy Teams of the host city of the 4 th Regional Family of the State of Paraná Health. The participants were 41 professionals of both genders. For the diagnostic evaluation of interdisciplinarity was applied a validated questionnaire among participants. Then an interdisciplinary educational action through conversation wheel methodology was applied. After the educational activity, it applied another questionnaire to check the results of this intervention. For statistical analysis was used the chi-square and logistic regression test (odds ratio). Although there are no statistical differences, most the workers said there is a work in interdisciplinary teams. Evaluating the prior knowledge of the topic discussed, it was found that college-educated professionals had greater knowledge of the subjects dealt with the mid-level/ technical (p=0.012). In general, the assessment of educational activity was positive, but the contribution of information for professional practice was considered average, due to some difficulties pointed out by professionals, for example, the lack of professionals in the teams and information on the topic. In conclusion is necessary to adopt governmental measures which could reduce the difficulties for the realization of interdisciplinary work in teams, and promote new skills. |
