NDLI: La matraca chiapaneca (Campylorhynchus chiapensis) en el istmo de Tehuantepec, Oaxaca, México

Abstract	New records allow describe the distribution of new populations, expand the distribution in different biotic region, and confirm the presence of the taxon in a different site. Between December 2017 and November 2018, we recorded eight adult individuals of the Giant Wren ( Campylorhynchus chiapensis ) in a locality south of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, Oaxaca. These records extend by almost 80 km in a straight line, the range of their known distribution. The Giant Wren is considered endemic to Chiapas and subject to special protection in Mexico.
