| Abstract | This research analyses the content of both the curriculum and the declarations of competence of education degrees whose graduates would be carry out educational processes of mobilty with infants. The objective is to understand the perceptions underlying the reviewed documents in relation to mobility, corporality and corporal practices understood as pedagogical activities. The qualitative methodology applied for this research is descriptive, relational and interpretative. The application of the methodology is based on interpreting the meanings on the analyzed documents, in order to understand the subject in a comprehensive way. Eleven documents of public (2) and private (4) universities of Viña del Mar and Valparaíso municipalities have been critically analyzed with the software Nvivo 10, which concentrate most of the universities in the region. The analysis is based on the Grounded Theory, following its fragmentation and articulation guidelines. By means of applying an inductive and interpretative logic, the information is classified by using emergent categories, and an opened, axial and selective coding. This categorization can be understood as trends, genres or patterns in which the information is classified, which allows the analyst to enunciate the findings and describe the facts from the statements in the documents. The results show that for Preschool Education degree there are from 1 to 3 subjects dealing with mobility, corporality and corporal practices; less than 5% of all subjects. For physical education degree, only 2 universities taught subjects related with mobility, corporality and corporal practices, which correspond to less than 2% of all subjects. As a conclusion, we can say that that the processes of initial teaching training have left forgotten issues related with mobility, corporality and corporal practices in childhood (but not necessarily for older ages) in their curriculums. This entails that future professionals have to adapt their knowledge to be applied to children. Secondly, and regarding meaning and orientation, the subjects are taught according to the paradigms of human mobility and 2a Conferencia Internacional de formación universitaria del profesorado de la Educación Física, Deporte, Recreación y afines. There is a dispute between these paradigms in the different training proposals offered by the analyzed universities. In fact, in some cases these paradigms coexist. |
