| Abstract | The present study, with an experimental design pretest-postest, had as aim establish if the training in acceptance and diffusion differs in the efficiency in the short and long term, to modify the improper consumption of alcohol in comparison with a cognitive behavioral training that tries to teach the sure consumption of the alcohol in university students. It splits of the expositions of previous investigations that affirm that the consumption, it is a conduct that takes the avoidance of events as a function (Luciano, Paez and Valdivia ^ 2010), in such a way that if this one is modified by means of technologies of acceptance and decision, the improper consumption of the alcohol will diminish in the time, likewise, it appears that the strategies cognitive behavioral centred in avoiding the improper consumption of the alcohol, do not alter of permanent form the above mentioned behavior of consumption, provided that they do not alter the function of the conduct. From this, two plans of intervention designed croup], based on the acceptance and diffusion, and in the strategies comportamentales protective that were applied in two meetings to every group of study. 3 meetings follow-ups were realized by a total of time of 1 month, and the results of the tests were compared pre and post for every group. To identify the level of consumption of alcohol, there was in use the Scale IAD (Aponte, Scopetta, Gonzalez, Sanabria, Pineda, Dun, Rocha, Rubiano and Grove, 2000), and to identify the level of Avoidance Experiencial, the Spanish Adjustment of the Questionnaire of Acceptance and Action (AAQ) of Hut (2004) The results showed significant differences between the groups in the measures post, both in the level of consumption and in the trend to avoid. |
