| Abstract | A documentary-supported panorama of football in the media, the challenges of digital journalism and the changes that communication undergoes in a convergence space such as the web is presented. Subsequently, the categories of sports journalism, digital journalism and journalistic genres are defined in search of the construction of a meaning that brings together the concepts of quality and the journalistic retouching of work in the network. Advances in a media analysis with the use of qualitative and quantitative methodologies to characterize the behavior of the media against information and evaluate them so that they are applied for proper journalism. Finally, it is proposed the creation of a new media that uses the concepts stablished in the investigation and accomplish the difference in quality proposed in the media analysis. |
