| Abstract | The aim of this paper is to provide new evidence on the role played by public expenditure on Higher Education in terms of equity, using a benefit incidence approach. Specifically, unlike most other empirical papers applying this methodology, differences in both regional public expenditure and number of students will be taken into account. Thus, more accurate incidence results related to this public expenditure will be obtained, using both inter-regional and intra-regional perspectives. |
