| Abstract | An investigation was conducted to establish the effects of the implementation of the Kangaroo Mother Program (PMC) in the Central Hospital of the Police (HOCEN), in the city of Bogota DC, aimed at a population of 10 parents of premature children of the unit of newborns of said institution. The results obtained were favorable and contributed to the care of the child at home, where the educational needs required by the parents were met. The researchers planned, designed and executed an educational program, managing to reduce the parents' anxiety regarding the clinical status of their children, since they were linked to their care after having expanded and fixed their knowledge. |
