NDLI: Existe relación entre la psoriasis y la enfermedad periodontal

Abstract	At present, there are more and more researches that relate periodontal disease to various systemic diseases such as psoriasis. This is an inflammatory disease of the skin that causes maculopapular lesions in up to 3-5% of dermatological patients and it has been observed to be related to the periodontal status of the patients affected. In this project we attempt to analyze the relationship between psoriasis and periodontal disease based on the best available evidence on the subjects. We will try to study not only the prevalence but the related factors with them. It is concluded that the available scientific evidence is associated with an increase in prevalence between psoriasis and periodontal disease but it is unknown the etiopathogenic mechanisms that trigger it.
