In Brazil, houses shortage is a great problem that has been faced for a few decades aggravated by rural exodus and demographic growth in the brazilian metropolis. The third part of houses shortage of Rio Grande do Sul State is situated in the metropolitant region of Porto Alegre. The acceptance of non conventional building systems by Caixa Econômica Federal through technnical performance approval in order to offer tecnological alternatives to get financials resources has become a practice once again. We notice the return from this financial instituition demonstrating confidence to release resources for construction. Thus, the proposal of this research is to evaluate the performance of these building systems focused on unifamiliar houses production, for low income people, taking into consideration the construction industrialization and production processes management. This research is divided in three phases: first of all, a survey research; after that, the findings of the evaluating methods with bibliographic research and multiple study cases; finally, the method application in seven building systems of Caixa Econômica Federal and an eighth, a possibility of getting resouces for materials and analyses of evaluating results. Through the building systems description it is possible to conclude that the building systems investigated had good conditions to build houses with efficiency for low income people in relation to the performance requirements determinated by each evaluating method in relationship with production processes components in manufacturing, building or assembling in site.
