Abstract	O corrego do Gramado, localizado em Presidente Prudente/SP, tem sofrido intensos impactos ambientais provocados por diferentes fontes de poluicao. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo elaborar um diagnostico ambiental do corrego, buscando determinar suas reais condicoes, para que se tenha um conhecimento mais aprofundado sobre a atuacao dos diferentes fatores que causam sua degradacao e propor medidas de recuperacao para o mesmo. Assim, foram feitos levantamentos bibliograficos da area em questao; trabalhos de campo para reconhecimento da area; elaboracao de mapas; e analises fisico-quimicas da agua coletada. Os resultados obtidos com a realizacao deste estudo permitem dizer que os maiores problemas encontrados no corrego do Gramado referentes a degradacao e impacto ambiental estao extremamente ligados a acao antropica. Os possiveis geradores de poluicao do corrego sao o distrito industrial Antonio Crepaldi, o lixao municipal e o conjunto habitacional Jose Reis. Sendo assim, as principais acoes a serem realizadas para a recuperacao de tal corrego seriam a adequacao dos focos de degradacao, o terraceamento e a recomposicao da mata ciliar. ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT OF THE GRAMADO STREAM – PRESIDENTE PRUDENTE/SP ABSTRACT The Gramado stream, located at Presidente Prudente/SP, has suffered intense environmental impacts caused by different sources of pollution. So, the present work aims the environmental diagnosis of this stream, for knowing its real condition. This information can help in the identification of the different factors that cause degradation and proposing the recovery measures to the stream. For this, it had been done a bibliographic research about the area in question, developed maps, visits and physical and chemical analysis of the collected water. The results indicate that the main problems in the Gramado stream related to the degradation and to the environmental impact are due to the anthropic action. The possible generators of the stream pollution are the Antonio Crepaldi industrial district, the municipal landfill and housing Jose Reis. Therefore, the main actions to be taken for recovering this stream would be the adequacy of the degradation sources, the terracing and the restoration of the riparian vegetation.
