| Abstract | The present study reports on an experience lived with elementary school students of the Santa Teresa College, using activities that benefit the education and training of readers. The general objective is to analyze the use of gamma activities to encourage reading in the Libary do Colegio Santa Teresa. The methodology used was based on exploratory and descriptive research and with a technical procedure based on bibliographical and field research, with a quantitative approach. The research universe was the students and teachers from the 2nd year to the 5th year of elementary school. The results were satisfactory in relation to the inclusion of gamification in the process of teaching learning in classrooms in Brazil. Thus, gamification can play an important role in education by providing, motivation, teamwork, assimilation of content, and other benefits. |
