Abstract	This article aims to discuss the possibilities of using the choreographic representations made by groups of traditional gaucho dances in ENART as a pedagogical tool, from artistic practices. This is on the assumption that the choreographic representations can contribute significantly to the processes of teaching and learning, with a view not only its playful character, or entertainment, but also the content that address their themes. To compose this article, we chose to present the content in NCPs dealing with the history of Rio Grande do Sul, seeking to follow, define choreographic representations that could best serve to illustrate these aspects, under the gaze of Dance. The analyzes undertaken point to a fruitful border zone between art, dance and education that enable use choreographic representations as a powerful educational tool..
