In many regards, Le Proces-verbal became a preview of — and reflects — the themes explored and developed in the whole of his future writings. Using Bachelard's poetic, alchemist symbolism and Jungian psychology as a foundation for interpretation, this article offers a psycho-mythological reading of Le Clezio's first important contribution to literature. |
