| Abstract | Excess body weight is composed of overweight and obesity, which is a result of excess energy intake One of the age group that is at risk of the occurrence of overweight adolescent age group. This study aims to reveal the diets of adolescents are overweight in SMP Negeri Makassar. This type of research is descriptive survey design. Overweight student population is 2530. Sampling using Proportional Random Sampling method. The sample used in this study was 210 respondents. Processing with methods of data analysis through univariate analysis to portray each of the variables examined. Results obtained are carbohydrate food source at a frequency often is white rice (95.71%). Protein food source is fish often frequency (62.38%), eggs (58.57%), soybean (57.61%). Vegetable food sources often are vegetable kale frequency (50.47%). Source food fruits frequency often is bananas (50%) and jackfruit (47.61%). Source of food cakes / snacks frequency often is fried (43.8%) and dumplings frontman (40.95%). While the frequency beverage is tea in the glass often (41.9%), tea in bottles (33.8%) and tea box (33.33%). The conclusion of this study is the most frequent type of food consumption by teens is on carbohydrate types of rice, the protein that is fish. On maknana vegetable sources are kale and fruits and bananas. While the most commonly consumed beverage is the type of tea. |
