Abstract	According to some of his colleagues and disciples, when Carlos nino died, in 1993, he was beginning to work on a project trying to extrapolate his theories to the international realm. In this paper, I pick up at least an aspect of that project, and I analyze how nino would have extrapolated his theory of democracy to the global arena.
