| Abstract | A computer-based test administration and monitoring system developed at the University of Delaware is described. Using six terminals connected to a Burroughs B-6-iG0 computer, the system provides numerous capabilities for interactive testing and evaluation of students' course learning, while also providing statistical data to faculty in a variety of formats. Student attitudes toward the system have been mixed, although there is a generally positive reaction to the self-pacing features of the system. Faculty have used the data analysis features extensively and have been complimentary of then. Sone problems and opportunities for further development of the system are also presented.
