| Abstract | Research in the multidisciplinary databases Web of Knowledge by Thomson Reuters and ScienceDirect by Elsevier, through methodologies related to domain analysis and network analysis determined that professional competences can be classified into eight models with different approaches: workplace, theory of behavior, business strategy, cognitive and motivational, holistic, engineering and technology, higher education and organizational psychology, being important the study of all of them. The aim of the scientific paper is to deepen into the domain analysis and network analysis of the bibliography about professional competences from the perspective of organizational psychology, looking for the existing relations between authors and trends, significant because of their direct influence on the members of an organization. For the study of information sources, the traditional literature complemented with analysis of scientific domains from the integrated SCOPUS database which is being evaluated. The techniques used, network analysis and domain analysis, allow getting clusters that group data with similar features considering units of measure such as co-citation and cooccurrence. As a result, the characteristics of the competence models related to organizational psychology, their limitations, initial development, evolution and trends are presented. |
