| Abstract | This study aims to explore the senses and meanings of prison as a place of punishment in two women who are in pre - release in the prison and medium-security prison facility Buga. It is approached from a cultural historical perspective that places as central to analyze subjective processes. This research was qualitative, with exploratory design constructive- interpretative character, oriented from the Qualitative Epistemology Gonzalez Rey (2006). Life stories were performed in order to show feelings and meanings about life in prison two women in pre - release. The results show how shared meanings and also through economic, religious, historical and cultural factors evidence the sense that each gives to prison as punishment. |
