Abstract	This retrospective survey of 624 cases with lipidic profile used subjects of both sexes until 19 years old. These tests were conducted in private laboratory in Londrina, Parana, Brazil. In the studied cases, the results, according to the reference values established by Segundo Consenso Brasileiro sobre Dislipidemias, showed a high prevalence of dyslipidemia. These results also show that in order to evaluate the real dimension of the problem, it is necessary to include the public health system in the experience.
