| Abstract | The Affordable Care Act (ACA) created new health coverage options that provided an opportunity to narrow longstanding racial and ethnic disparities in health coverage. This brief examines how health coverage by race and ethnicity has changed since enactment of the ACA in 2010 and after the Trump Administration took office in 2017 and made changes that affect the availability of and enrollment in coverage. It is based on KFF analysis of American Community Survey data for the nonelderly population. |
