| Abstract | In this paper, we proposed a flexible parallel method of scalar multiplication for elliptic curve cryptosystems (ECC) using our proposed partition and integration models. In contrast to previous parallel scalar multiplication methods, our method can be implemented into various parallel systems with resistance against simple side-channel attacks (SSCA). Implementation results indicate that our method can be implemented into various parallel systems, which provide a speedup ratio of 1.55 relative to the binary method on a generic curve over Fp. Furthermore, for resisting against SSCA, previous secure scalar multiplication methods can be integrated into our method. Experimental results indicate that our SSCA-protected version can resist against SSCA. |
