| Abstract | The present study describes the factors that determine child labor, consequences and its impact on society; as well as the legal rules and institutions interested in the comprehensive development of children. The purpose of the research is to diagnose child labor in markets, parks and streets of the city of Loja, in 2013. You can observe children working selling a variety of products, along with their families, who have a stall in markets or are street vendors, it should be noted that these places are spaces that children, used for time relaxation therefore represents a risk to their physical, emotional and moral integrity therefore, should focus as a society to find solutions corroborating the eradication of child labor. As stable under the rules, regulations and policies for the comprehensive protection of children, according to the needs and priorities of society to assist the development of the community. Also, surveys of working children 5 to 11 years old city and interviews with connoisseurs officials in the field allowing to identify children working population, socio-economic characteristic, causes and consequences thereof applies and then translate the results into graphs, figures and statistical tables and finally analyze and interpret, based on the grant goals and in turn conclusions of the investigation. |
