Abstract	Ozet Bu arastirma Din Kulturu ve Ahlak Bilgisi ogretmenlerinin Secmeli Kur'ân-i Kerim, Hz. Muhammed'in (sav) Hayati ve Temel Dini Bilgiler derslerine yonelik oz algilarini ortaya koymayi amaclayan bir alan arastirmasidir. Arastirmaya 2012 yilinda Turkiye'nin cesitli illerinde gorev yapan 806 Din Kulturu ve Ahlak Bilgisi ogretmeni katilmistir. Arastirmada veri toplama araci olarak anket kullanilmis ve bu anketin gelistirilmesinde daha once yapilan bilimsel calismalardan ve din egitimi alaninda calisan akademisyenlerden faydalanilmistir. Arastirma sonucunda elde edilen bulgular cinsiyet, hizmet suresi ve mezuniyet durumu degiskenlerine gore cozumlenmis ve degerlendirilmistir. Degerlendirme sonucunda bu degiskenlere gore bazi alanlarda farklilasmalarin oldugu, genel olarak ise ogretmenlerin kendi yeterliliklerini cogunlukla “iyi” olarak nitelemelerine karsin %89'unun secmeli derslerle ilgili hizmet ici egitime ihtiyac duyuldugunu ifade ettikleri gorulmustur. Abstract This field research studied the self-perception of teachers of the course “Culture of Religion And Knowledge of Ethics” about the new elective courses “Qur'an”, “The Life of Prophet Muhammed (pbuh)” and “Basic Religious Knowledge”. Participants in the research included 806 teachers working in Turkey, in 2012. The data for the study were collected with questionnaires created with the aid of prior academic research and religious educators. The study analyzed and evaluated its findings under the headings of: sex (male or female); number of years taught; and education. Teachers generally said that their capability is enough but in-service training is necessary (%89 of teachers).
