| Abstract | Electrolytic preparation of molybdenum coatings has been investigated in molten NaCI—KCl, KF, and KF—B203 electrolytes containing Na2Mo04 as the electrochemically active component. Molybdenum can be successfully electrodeposited from the molten mixture KF—B203—Na2Mo04 in the form of coherent layers on different electrically conductive substrates. The thickness of the layer depends on the temperature and current density used for deposition. |
