The present work aimed to analyse the possibilities of the local development of an efficient Cooperative Management developed through the strategies establishment, driven to both Economic Management and Social Management of these organizations. For this study, it was necessary to correlate development with cooperativism, from the authors that emphasize the fact when the development to involve other factors as important as the economic growth and the wealth distribution in addition it is reasoned in theories that emphasize it like process. The study was consummated in the Credit Cooperative of the São Roque de Minas / SICOOB-SAROMCREDI. In this research, it was noticed that the local development in São Roque de Minas is based on the interaction and in the deepening of certain dynamics lied in the town's trajectory, favored from an endogenous initiative of collective solution for the access to financial services. In this way, it stands out the actuation of the credit cooperative like an articulator and supporter of the local development. Based on that, it was three relevant dynamics in the study of the case. The establishment of horizontal relations between the organization and the cooperated; Prioritization to the stimulus to local actors' protagnism, for the articulation of transformations on the participative and cooperative way, possible for the democratic strategies by undertaken itself and the Search for the town's autonomy, through the establishment of internal savings. The development could be so because of the relations product that was established in the interior of the organization being possible by the cooperative management. In this perspective, the cooperatives besides being an organization that works to defend its own interests, it can also be a social collective actor for to promote the local development. |
