| Abstract | This paper shows the results of a research carried out with the students of the Bachelor in Social Studies and Civic Education (BEESEC) and the Bachelor in History (BH) of the National University of Costa Rica. The research proposed knowing the notions of History that the student brings to his entrance to the university and how they are built at the conceptual level. Similarly, it is intended to see the trends that motivated the entry to the races and these will remain as their study options. In addition, it shows the relationship between the notions of History and utility presented by the curricula of each career to strengthen these conceptions. At the methodological level, we worked with mixed research techniques, for which we worked on the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data. |
