Abstract	This research mainly focuses on examining the influence of strategic orientations on firm’s innovative performance of SMEs in Kelantan. Four most comprehensive constructs of strategic orientation comprise of entrepreneurial orientation, involving the strategy making processes that provide organizations with a basis for entrepreneurial decisions and actions, market orientation deals with the dynamic relationship between a company's product/ service offerings and its environment, technology orientation focuses on the ability and the will to acquire a substantial technological background and also learning orientation. This study utilizes a non- experimental design or descriptive study design when there is no manipulation or control variables are performed to determine the effect on the dependent variable. Data for all the study variables has been collected through self-administered survey questionnaires and have been analyzed using SPSS 21.0 software package. The study has shown that strategic orientation has a positive direct effect on firm innovative performance. This suggests that SMEs in Kelantan to adopt a flexible and varied mix of strategic orientations according to their needs and the external conditions they operate in. Overall, finding of this study improve our understanding on strategic orientation and firm’s innovative performance of SMEs in Kelantan. Based on the findings, the theoretical and practical implications of the study are also discussed.
