| Abstract | The National Humanization Policy was created, in 2003, to reiterate the principles from the Universal Health System (free translation from Sistema Único de Saúde) in its daily practices of attention and management. This research aimed to discuss about the perceptions regarding the humanized service in the main health areas. A bibliographic survey was performed in the databases SciELO, MEDLINE/PUBMED, and LILACS, with studies published in the last 10 years, finding 19 papers which met the inclusion requirements: articles which aimed to evaluate the perception of professionals regarding humanization and complete texts. An exploratory reading of the resumes, materials/methods and results of the articles was performed, which were divided in tables, being characterized about samples, objective, and main results found and analised about the methodological quality via PEDro Scale. The articles approached the factors which improved the work processes, such as: sheltering, accessibility, teamwork and participative management. Regarding methodological quality, only four studies filled the requirements, with score equal to 6 or greater. The results were analysed in three aspects: the humanizing concept; being humanized in health; and the user in the context of assistance humanization. It was found out that this is a theme of extreme efficacy for the work process, creating the need for new studies. |
