| Abstract | espanolEl animal esta presente en el imaginario como un motivo generador de sentido para el ser humano en el espacio literario. La salamandra aparece desde los origenes de la literatura clasica asociada al fuego, capaz de soportarlo y de extinguirlo. Con su doble morfologia de animal empirico y fabuloso, y gracias a la importancia del elemento igneo para la cultura occidental, la salamandra ha conservado un discurso literario como estrategia para plasmar una diversidad ideologica. De este modo, su restringida lectura moral de la Edad Media fue progresando hasta encontrar su esplendor en el Renacimiento y siglo XVI. La figura del rey Francisco I, que acoge a este animal como emblema personal, invita a redescubrir el discurso inflamado de la salamandra. Por un lado, la poesia bajo la influencia neoplatonica, hara uso de este motivo animal para mostrar una pasion que no se consume entre las llamas, y por otro, aparecera incluso en una implicita "estetica de la salamandra" EnglishThe animal is present in the imaginary as a sense generator motif for the human being in the literary domain.
