Abstract	This article aims to analyze regulatory developments about protected natural areas, which has been a lot since the creation of the National Service of Protected Natural Areas –Sernanp. I consider important to take time to review the way how the regulation has developed and what steps we lack even give, because of the relevance of our natural wealth that many often is in conflict with the development of economic activities.
