| Abstract | The present communication demonstrates the preparation of 2,3,7,8,12,13,17,18-octaethyl-21H,23H-porphine iron(III) chloride nanoparticles (FePNPs) by reprecipitation method. In a further effort, the potential application of FePNPs was exploited as an effective fluorescent assay platform for nucleic acid detection. This assay system exhibits high sensitivity and selectivity down to a single-base mismatch. |
