| Abstract | Obesity / overweight is increasing worldwide in recent years. Modern life has contributed significantly to make it happen due to improper feeding of large caloric intake, lack of sports, inappropriate lifestyle with use of alcoholic beverages and smoking . This change in weight is a risk factor for chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension that contribute to increased morbidity and mortality. It is necessary that the government and private sectors have initiatives to improve weight control. Health facilities have an important role in this context and the multidisciplinary team is essential so that you can put into practice activities for patients, including exercise, proper menu individually, meeting for clarification and monitoring. With the completion of the intervention project avoids weight gain and thus can preserve and encourage good quality of life. |
