| Abstract | The project focused on the development of a proposal for the production of an organo-mineral fertilizer, from the sludge generated in a wastewater treatment plant in the municipality of Sopo, Cundinamarca; in order to take advantage of its potential in agronomic nutrients and mitigate the greenhouse gas emissions that are caused by being disposed of in a sanitary landfill. This was done by means of an aerobic composting process and its subsequent combination with N-P-K type minerals. For the development of this project, a physicochemical and microbiological characterization of the residual sludge was carried out, taking into account the main parameters according to the NTC 516719, for its later classification and treatment. Once obtained the results of the analysis carried out in an external laboratory, newspaper and lawn pruning were established as support materials. |
