| Abstract | A microporous metal–organic framework MOF 1 [Zn(L)2(methanol)2] (H2L = (1R,3S)-1,2,2-trimethyl-3-(pyridin-4-ylcarbamoyl)cyclopentanecarboxylic acid) constructed from a flexible Zn2+ node and a flexible organic linker L was obtained by solvothermal reaction of diamond topology, and exhibits highly selective sorption of methanol over ethanol and water. |
